The Aviation Affairs Division at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) serves as the primary point of contact for airlines, tenants, and aviation support providers looking to do business at the airport. Our team ensures the seamless administration of airline agreements, property management, and aviation support services, contributing to the continued success and growth of LAS.
The team plays a vital role in managing all revenue-generating agreements, permits, and contracts related to Aviation Affairs and Air Service Development, ensuring exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, including businesses and agencies operating at LAS and within the general aviation (GA) sector.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Airline Lease Agreements and Operating Permits: The Aviation Affairs team manages airline lease agreements and operating permits, ensuring compliance with airport policies. These agreements are essential for enabling airline operations at LAS and fostering a strong, diverse airline network.
Management of Airport Properties and Special-Use Facilities: We oversee aviation properties and special-use facilities, ensuring they are used efficiently to meet the needs of airlines, aviation support providers, and other key stakeholders.
Negotiation and Administration of Agreements: Our team negotiates and manages leases, contracts, and permits for special-use activities at LAS and general aviation airports. These agreements support airport operations and maintain a well-functioning aviation system.
Air Service Development: We collaborate with the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and other stakeholders to attract new air service to LAS and facilitate successful airline launches.
Space Management: Maximizing revenue generation through effective space management is a key focus. We ensure that airline and aviation-designated spaces are optimally allocated and utilized.
General Aviation Leases and Aviation Support Agreements: Our team manages general aviation leases and aviation support agreements, ensuring smooth operations for all general aviation airports under the Department of Aviation (DOA).
