Sustainable infrastructure is a cornerstone of our development strategy. Whether building new or upgrading existing facilities, we prioritize resource efficiency, occupant well-being, and long-term value.

  • Recycling Program: More than 250 dual-use waste/recycling stations are located throughout our terminals. Materials are compacted and sent to Republic Services for processing, with ongoing efforts to improve diversion rates.

  • Construction Material Reuse: Concrete millings from runway demolition projects are repurposed for dust control across airport property, saving costs, reducing landfill trips, and protecting topsoil.

  • EV Charging Stations: LAS has installed over 24 customer-accessible electric vehicle charging stations in valet parking areas across both terminals.

  • Cardboard Recycling: With several cardboard balers on-site, LAS processed 740 bales in 2022, weighing over 302 tons—equivalent to the weight of 200 Chevy Suburbans.
