Korean Air celebrated a milestone at LAS — 20 years of nonstop service between Seoul and Las Vegas. To mark the occasion, the airport and longtime partner, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, threw a little party.
Korean began flights to Las Vegas back in 2006, and it hasn’t looked back. It has repeatedly increased service and upgraded aircraft on the route, providing visitors the convenience of nonstop service to Southern Nevada from Asia.
The anniversary celebration included showgirls greeting an arriving flight, as well as treats and gifts for passengers.
Korean Air’s direct flights from Seoul depart from Incheon International Airport, the largest in South Korea and an international hub serving Asia and the South Pacific. While Korean isn’t the first carrier to offer nonstop service between Las Vegas and Asia, it’s certainly the longest-tenured.
The airport was proud to celebrate this partnership with Korean Air and looks forward to many more years connecting Las Vegas to the world.
