Clark County Department of Aviation | LAS Airport Newsletter Giveaway Official Rules

These official rules (“Rules”) apply to this contest (“Contest”) sponsored by Harry Reid International Airport (“LAS”), owned and operated by the Clark County Department of Aviation (“CCDOA”), and conducted via LAS’s official Instagram social media platform. Entry into this Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these Rules.

1.Binding Agreement In order to enter the Contest, you (“Contestant”) must agree to these Rules. The Rules consist of the terms and conditions on this page (“Contest Materials”). These Rules will form a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) with respect to this Contest, please read them carefully. Contestants must agree to these Rules to be eligible for the Contest. Contestant agrees registration for this Contest and/or a submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes an agreement to these Rules.

2. Eligibility To enter, Contestant must be a resident of the United States and at least eighteen (18) years of age. Employees of the CCDOA, its contractors, vendors, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members or members of the same household are not eligible to participate. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.

3. How to Enter/Contest Period Instructions on how to participate in the contest are as follows: Visit @LASAIRPORT on Instagram and like the newsletter giveaway post, follow us on Instagram and sign up for our newsletter here by August 29, 2025 11:59 PM.

Only Contestants meeting the eligibility standards may make entries to the Contest. The Contest begins on August 27, 2025, at 10 AM and closes on August 29, 2025, at 11:59 PM (“Contest Period”). All entries must be received by the stated end date and time to be eligible. Only one entry per Contestant will be accepted. Email entries are prohibited. CCDOA will notify the winner by September 4, 2025, at 11:59 PM. CCDOA accepts no responsibility for submissions lost, delayed, damaged, not received, or howsoever caused. All submissions will become the property of the CCDOA.

4. Winner Selection and Notification CCDOA will select three (3) winners through a random drawing upon conclusion of the Contest Period. CCDOA will notify the winner via telephone, email, or direct message from the official @LASairport social media account within five (5) business days after the Contest Period ends. The winner shall have seventy-two (72) hours to respond before an alternate winner is selected.

5. Prizes There will be three winners. The prize is an LAS swag bag with the following items:

  • Las Vegas Pin

  • Las Vegas Casino Poker Chip

  • Harry Reid Notepad

  • Luggage Tag

  • Neck Pillow

  • Squishy Airplane

  • Sunglasses

Drawstring Bag Total Value of All Prizes: Approximate retail value (“ARV”) $75 US Dollars (“USD”) (Each individual prize is worth $15 USD)

No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of any prize is permitted, except by CCDOA, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion

Prize Redemption: Winners may pick up their prizes at the LAS Terminal 1 Information Booth near the A/B security checkpoint during business hours, or they may request that their prizes be mailed to them free of charge within the United States.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the Contest winners. Prizes may be reported as required by law.

6. Other Rules and Information Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entries received. A valid entry during the Contest Period makes a Contestant eligible for the prize drawing. The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winners are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Winners must present state authorized identification prior to claiming the prize. Winners may be required to execute a waiver and release of liability as a condition of award of the prize.

7. Sponsor: This contest is sponsored by Clark County Department of Aviation, with a principal place of business at 5757 Wayne Newton Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89119 (“Address”). Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the promotion must be directed to Sponsor.

8. Privacy Notice By participating in this Contest, Contestant agrees CCDOA can collect your personal information, and that if we cannot collect the required data, you may not be eligible to participate in the Contest. Any personal information collected during the course of the competition by CCDOA will be used for administering this Contest and for other purposes as outlined in these Rules. Contestants acknowledge CCDOA is subject to the public records laws set forth in NRS Chapter 239, and the Contestant agrees it will fully cooperate with CCDOA in the event of a request or a lawsuit arising under such laws for the disclosure of any materials or information. Any other provision of this Agreement notwithstanding, including all attachments or other documents incorporated into this Agreement by reference, all materials, records and information provided by the Contestant to CCDOA shall be considered confidential by CCDOA only to the extent provided under Nevada law, and the Contestant agrees that any disclosure of information by CCDOA consistent with the provisions of Nevada’s public records law shall result in no liability to CCDOA.

9. General Conditions This Contest is governed by the laws of Clark County, the State of Colorado, and the United States of America. By entering the Contest, Contestant agrees to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by the terms of these Rules and by CCDOA’s decisions, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including due to hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, or congestion, will not be eligible. CCDOA further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned. CCDOA reserves the right to disqualify any entry that fails to comply with these Rules, who attempts to enter the contest in any manner or through any means other than those described, or who attempts to disrupt the Contest or to circumvent these Rules or commits fraud or submits false information. CCDOA reserves the right to update the Rules at any time and will do its best to keep Contestants informed of changes, but it is ultimately the responsibility of each Contestant to be aware of any updates. Acceptance of a prize constitutes consent to use winners’ names and likenesses for editorial and publicity purposes, without further compensation. Participation in this Contest constitutes agreement by Contestant to release and hold harmless sponsors (including but not limited to CCDOA) and any of its officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns and affiliates against any and all claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of or relating to participation in this Contest or use, misuse, or redemption of a prize. Winners will be chosen at random from the entries received. These Rules or a record containing the names of the Contest winners will be provided upon request without charge by contacting the CCDOA at the 5757 Wayne Newton Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89119 (“Address”).

10. Disclaimer This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Instagram, Facebook, or X (formerly Twitter).

11. Media Activity Except where prohibited by law, by participating in this Contest, you grant CCDOA permission to use, reproduce, display, modify, distribute, and publicly share your contest submissions including but not limited to photos, captions, and usernames for any purpose, including promotional and media-related activities, without additional compensation. You also agree to participate in any media or promotional activity regarding the Contest. If you are a winner, you agree that CCDOA may use your name and likeness to administer and promote the Contest, the CCDOA, or LAS and to conduct media interviews and promotional events.

12. Indemnification and Limitation of Liability By entering the Contest, each Contestant agrees to indemnify, release, and hold harmless the CCDOA, its administrators, advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from any and all liability, claims, damages, or losses arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Contest and the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize awarded. CCDOA makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to any prize. CCDOA and its agents are not responsible for any damage to a participant’s computer system or device that may result from participating in the Contest or from accessing or downloading Contest-related materials.
