Following two record-setting years, Harry Reid International Airport served nearly 55 million passengers in 2025 — the third-highest annual total in the airport’s history. This achievement underscores Las Vegas’s enduring appeal as a world-class destination for leisure, business, and special events.
Despite aviation industry-wide challenges, the airport maintained seamless operations during a federal government shutdown and became a national leader in supporting federal workers with a donated food and essentials pantry.
Throughout 2025, LAS continued to focus on enhancements to the overall passenger experience, including:
Acquiring new Airport Rescue Fire Fighting vehicles to enhance safety.
Implementing real-time TSA checkpoint wait times on flight information display screens.
Updating the airport website to improve navigation, accessibility and the mobile user experience.
Partnering with Aira ASL to support travelers who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Opening two new premium lounges — the Capital One lounge in the D gates and a Chase Sapphire lounge in the C gates.
As the city looks ahead to even busier years, 2025 stands as a testament to Las Vegas’s status as a top travel hub, connecting millions to the excitement of the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World.
