LAS and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority partnered to welcome Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and approximately 25,000 worldwide members arriving for the organization’s annual gathering.
A “welcome to Las Vegas” sign was temporarily installed in Baggage Claim, and showgirls clad in the sorority’s official colors of pink and green posed for photos with arriving guests.
An interactive map allowed members to share where they were visiting from. Similar activations have welcomed travelers to LAS for Super Bowl LVIII, the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, WrestleMania, and the recent BTS concerts at Allegiant Stadium.
